Laura Vandette
Sales Representative
Laura’s varied experience puts her in a unique position to help people bring their dreams to fruition, whether they’re “rightsizing” after retirement, are first time buyers, and everything in between. Laura provides a staging consultation, professional photos, virtual tour and floor plans for all listings to help her clients get top dollar for their properties, and even builds a custom website for each listing complete with links to community businesses and resources.
As a member of the Realtors Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) and the Brampton Real Estate Board (BREB), properties listed by Laura will be seen by potential buyers from Hamilton, Toronto, Burlington, Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, Barrie and beyond.
Laura has every client’s best interests in mind, and doesn’t “double end” – meaning she doesn’t represent the potential buyer and seller for the purchase of a property. She is available by phone, email and text to answer all questions during the process, and she works hard to negotiate the best deals.
Aside from helping people settle into her beloved neighbourhood, Laura is a champion for all Hamilton has to offer and strives to give back. She enjoys trying new cuisine, supporting local businesses, and she also served on the Crown Point Community Planning Team (CPCPT) from 2016-2018. The CPCPT – was a team of volunteers who focused on engaging neighbours and developing leadership within the community.
Laura is also the force behind the Crown Point Garage Sale and Fundraiser, which began in 2016. She invites residents to participate by hosting their own garage sale selling their used goods. In 2019, 150 registered hosts participated and we saw just as many “pop up” sales throughout the neighbourhood. Lots of fun was had. Garage Sale hosts are encouraged to make a donation from their proceeds to a local organization that is selected annually.
When Laura’s not representing clients, she and her husband enjoy seeing more of the beautiful country by motorcycle, or exploring beyond Canada’s borders. But no matter where she is, she loves telling people about Hamilton, and why it’s a great place to live.
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all your help this past August in finding a home for my daughters and I. You had a tough assignment as I needed to stay within the catchment area of my daughter’s French immersion school and we had a very tight deadline. After countless showings and multiple offers that didn’t work for whatever reason, you were a constant support and your recommendation on the house we found is something I will always remember.
